Biography
- MB, ChB MRCGP (1993)
- GMC: 4026097
Jonny studied medicine at the University of Bristol, where he also earned a first-class honours degree in neuroscience.
After qualifying, he completed his foundation training in Yorkshire, then moved to Australia to work as an emergency doctor in Brisbane and Melbourne.
He returned to Bristol for GP training in Bath, and has since worked as a GP in practices across the Bristol area. He also provides medical cover at the occasional Bristol Rovers match.
Jonny’s approach is patient-centred. He takes the time to explain the options so his patients can make informed decisions about their own health. He has a particular interest in ear, nose and throat (ENT) medicine.
Outside medicine, Jonny enjoys cricket and road cycling, and has run a five-a-side football team for the past eight years.
