We’re Winning
The last 6 months have been a time of unexpected acknowledgement for us, which we are very grateful for. In November 2016, we won the coveted Laing Buisson award for Best UK Private Primary Care and Diagnostics. The Laing Buisson awards are considered to be the “Oscars of health and social care”, and we were competing against some well established national providers, so it was great news to be announced the winners.
Early this year, for the second year in a row, we were awarded What Clinic’s customer service award, which is given to the top 5% of Practices, based on client feedback.
Finally, earlier this month we were announced as West Midland’s Microbusiness of the Year 2017, regional winners in the Federation of Small Business Awards.
Whilst its great to be recognised, our focus remains purely on providing our members with the best possible personalised medical care anywhere in the UK. At a time when the industry (both public and private) seems to be moving away from personalised lists towards remote, technology-driven advice and “super surgeries”, our Practice remains committed to strengthening the doctor/patient relationship, and restoring the traditional house call.
We’re Evolving
We are continually approached by new members seeking to join the Practice, but who reside outside our core area of the North Cotswolds. To enable us to support these new areas, we are delighted to introduce Dr Rachel Jakeman (left) and Dr Hala Atkin (bottom left) who will be joining the Practice in May. Dr Rachel is based near Cirencester, and will enable us to cover the South Cotswolds (including Cheltenham) and North Oxfordshire.
Dr Hala is based near Solihull, and will enable us to provide greater coverage to Warwickshire (including Warwick and Leamington).
Please do pass our details onto any of your friends or colleagues that live in these areas, who you think might be interested in our services.
Exciting News
Dr Lucy will be starting her maternity leave on Monday 24th April 2017, she will be starting back at Concierge later in the year. We wish Dr Lucy all the best with her impending arrival and are looking forward to seeing the photos.
Can all members please use their private client line/practice email address rather than Dr Lucy’s mobile whilst she is on maternity. This will ensure that your call is picked up by Dr Karl or Dr Simon.
Please do remember to use your dedicated private client line or email address when you contact us. Routine calls and emails will be picked up by your own doctor, but we need to ensure nothing is missed in the out of hours and holiday periods. Our duty doctor is always one of the Concierge team, we will never use agency or locum doctors.
Finally, we would like to thank all of you who have kindly referred us to friends and families, it is a very rewarding way to grow, and is very much appreciated.
