The last 6 months have been a time of unexpected acknowledgement for us, which we are very grateful for. In November 2016, we won the coveted Laing Buisson award for Best UK Private Primary Care and Diagnostics. The Laing Buisson awards are considered to be the “Oscars of health and social care”, and we were competing against some well established national providers, so it was great news to be announced the winners.
Early this year, for the second year in a row, we were awarded What Clinic’s customer service award, which is given to the top 5% of Practices, based on client feedback.
Finally, earlier this month we were announced as West Midland’s Microbusiness of the Year 2017, regional winners in the Federation of Small Business Awards.
Whilst its great to be recognised, our focus remains purely on providing our members with the best possible personalised medical care anywhere in the UK. At a time when the industry (both public and private) seems to be moving away from personalised lists towards remote, technology-driven advice and “super surgeries”, our Practice remains committed to strengthening the doctor/patient relationship, and restoring the traditional house call.
