That’s why we are expanding our Cross-Cover Team: a unique role that gives you the freedom to practise high-touch medicine without the responsibility of managing your own long-term list.

Why This Role Exists

This role is designed for a GP who:

• Loves relationship-based, high-quality medicine

• Wants flexibility and variety

• Prefers supporting colleagues rather than carrying their own panel immediately

• Enjoys home visits, continuity, and patient-first medicine

• Eventually wants the option to transition into a full-time covering GP

You will step into the shoes of our GPs when they are on annual leave, training, sick leave, or operating at capacity – ensuring patients still receive exceptional, uninterrupted care.

What You’ll Do

• Provide home visits, remote consultations, and in-person reviews to members across the Cotswolds (primarily Moreton-in-Marsh and surrounding areas).

• Cover the patient lists of our existing doctors while they are away.

• Offer high-touch, relationship-based medical care – without the pressure of fixed 10-minute appointments.

• Work closely with our clinical, operations, and nursing team who ensure you’re always supported.

• Enjoy a varied week, meeting patients across different villages, households, and circumstances.

Who You Are

You’re a GP who:

• Wants to deliver medicine the way it should be delivered

• Thrives in autonomy but values being part of a supportive clinical team

• Enjoys home visiting and isn’t fazed by country lanes or dogs greeting you at the door 🐶

• Holds GMC registration with a licence to practise

• Drives and lives within (or is willing to relocate to) Moreton-in-Marsh or nearby villages
