ConciergeMedical is delighted to be announced as finalists in the prestigious 2018 LaingBuisson Awards.
The national awards, known as the Oscars of health and social care, recognise and celebrate industry excellence and innovative services in the public, private and third sectors. They are in their 13th year and are judged independently and objectively and focus on the people providing the care and receive over 350 nominations each year.
ConciergeMedical is the UK’s first concierge practice, delivering 24/7 private GP services at home to its members across Gloucestershire, Warwickshire, Worcestershire and Wiltshire. Its philosophy is a simple one: “to provide our members with the very best private medical care available in the UK.”
ConciergeMedical has been selected as finalists in the Primary Care Category, which recognises excellence in the delivery of healthcare services in the primary care setting including GP practices, diagnostics, integration with acute care (Integrated Care Systems) and disease management. The Practice has also been selected as finalists in the Healthcare Outcomes Category, which recognises excellence in the delivery of better healthcare outcomes with a focus on ability to demonstrate those outcomes.
Dr Karl Braine, co-founder and Medical Director of ConciergeMedical says, “The Laingbuisson Awards are really important to us – they are the top award in our industry sector. Our selection as finalists in 2 core clinical categories is recognition that, in an increasingly technology-driven sector, there is still room for celebrating the good old-fashioned local family doctor and acknowledging the value of continuity of care and patient advocacy. We were privileged to win the Primary Care category award in 2016, and are delighted to be 2018 finalists in both categories”.
The winners will be announced at a black tie ceremony at the Park Plaza, Westminster Bridge on the 15th November 2018.
