Cotswolds private General Practice, Concierge Medical is in the running to be named one of the best rural businesses in the UK after being shortlisted for a regional Rural Business Award.
We will battle it out against fellow rural businesses, entrepreneurs and enterprises from across the region for a place at the national final. The regional final will be held virtually in October 2021, with the National Final taking place early next year.
Founded in 2013, our private general practice provides continuity of care for its members across the Cotswolds and surrounding areas. The growing business offers accessibility to doctors through its personal home visiting doctor service and 24/7 telephone advice line with experienced GP’s. Providing an assured, reliable and discreet service to its members in a rural landscape where often access to healthcare can be a challenge. Concierge Medical has already been widely recognised across the industry, previously winning a WhatClinic Patient Service Award, LaingBuisson national award and an FSB Worldpay Microbusiness of the Year regional award.
The Rural Business Awards 2021/2022, in partnership with Amazon, will mark the Awards’ seventh year of celebrating the success of businesses across the UK’s rural economy. The Awards are organised by rural business for rural business with the aim of celebrating the achievements of rural businesses and developing a strong network for rural business owners.
The Cotswolds was the perfect place to start up our practice, as the service flexibility and model suits the rural community and the benefits of the service make a real and valued difference to our patients. We are thrilled to be to have been announced regional finalists in the Rural Business Awards. To be finalists in another award demonstrates our ongoing commitment and service to our members and is an acknowledgement to our wonderful team of GP’s and wider team for their hard work and dedication.
The Awards are organised by rural business for rural business, with winners in the 13 categories – ranging from Best Rural Start-up and Best Rural Diversification Project; through to Best Rural Professional Services Business and Best Rural Innovation – decided by an independent panel of judges drawn from the rural business sector, rural public sector agencies, and rural charitable organisations.
The Rural Business Awards is hosting a series of regional finals in the North, East, Midlands, South West, Wales and Northern Ireland, throughout October 2021, ahead of the National Final next February.
